Last night, I got a request from a client that works at a big university in Los Angeles. Her phone keeps getting this pop up message. Cannot Verify Server Identity on iPhone.
She said their IT have tried to remove the email addresses and added them back in on Mail and even on outlook. They did the same for AOL and even remove the SSL but the pop up keeps coming back.
I checked her phone this morning and found out that she was connected to the SpectrumWifi.
It looks like she gets this message when she is driving. I removed her phone and selected Forgot network for SpectrumWifi and the pop ups stop appearing.
You can find this on your Apple iPhone by going to Settings -> Wifi.
To remove and make sure Spectrum Wifi doesn’t connect on your phone again, go to Settings -> Wifi ->There is a circle with an “i” in the middle on the right side of SpectrumWifi (press that) -> Press Forget This Network.
